Rage Against the Fax Machine

I'm quite sure that back in the 90s when Zachary de la Rocha and his RATM pals were fashioning their anti-establishment jingles, they would have never imagined their music would reach as far as it has. My question is, "Has it reached too far?"
This past week I stumbled into a nice quiet office with all the standard office trimmings. You know, phones, magazines; a secretary named Sharon. And as I waited for Sharon to look up from her game of PC Solitare and notice me, my sense of hearing was peaked by the sounds of Rage Against the Machine whispering from the office radio. "They rally 'round your family! With a pocket full of shells!" I stood there feeling off for some reason. I like Rage...I don't dislike offices...why do I feel this way?

Here's why:

Rage's music shouldn't be played at a low volume anywhere, let alone an office. Evil Empire was never intended to be the soundtrack for well, the Evil Capitalist Empire that that office was fronting. Rage should be listened to in environments where violence may break out. Intense places. Like, whatever the opposite of a Klu Klux Klan rally is like. (I've never been to either btw.) (Also, sidenote: Clan isn't spelled with a K. What the fuck rednecks?"

The point: Offices need to stop playing RATM, leave their music for the guys in the warehouse and for me in my minivan. You don't have any reasons to be all that pissed. Keep it real Sharon, and change the station to the one that plays that band Train.

I think this should read "Intense places. Like, whatever the opposite of a Klu Klux Klan rally is like. (I've never been to either btw, yet.)"
